Free Entry — Postal Route

Every eligible 6 For Gold competition has a free entry route. You do not need to purchase a ticket to enter.

How to Enter by Post

Send a postcard or letter by ordinary 1st or 2nd class post containing all of the following:

  • Full Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Postal Address

  • Email Address

  • One contact number

  • The Competition ID shown on the relevant competition page

Important Rules

  • Only one entry per postcard or letter is permitted

  • A postcard or letter containing multiple entries will not be accepted

  • All required details must be clearly written or typed

  • Incomplete or illegible entries may not be accepted

  • Postal entries must be received before the relevant competition closes

  • Entries received after a competition has closed or sold out cannot be accepted

  • You must have an active 6 For Gold account when your postal entry is processed

  • The details supplied with your postal entry must match the details registered to your account

  • If we reasonably believe that one person is attempting to enter using multiple identities or accounts, associated entries may be rejected

How Your Postal Entry Is Added

Each valid postal entry will be allocated an available ticket number for the competition you have entered.

That ticket number will then be included directly in the main competition draw alongside the other allocated ticket numbers.

Your postal entry does not go into the Online Free Magpie Ticket #1 pool.

Online Free Magpie Entry

Our Online Free Magpie Entry works differently.

Valid online free entrants are placed into a free-entry pool represented by Ticket #1.

If Ticket #1 is selected as the winning number, a further random draw is carried out between the valid online free entrants in that competition's pool to determine the winner.

Please allow enough time for your postal entry to reach us before the competition closes.

We recommend checking the relevant competition page before posting your entry to make sure the competition is still open and to confirm the correct Competition ID.
