2. Eligibility
Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, unless additional eligibility requirements are clearly stated on the relevant competition page.
Entrants must provide accurate information when creating an account and entering a competition.
We may require reasonable proof of identity, age, UK residency and eligibility before awarding a prize.
Employees of 6 For Gold and members of their immediate household are not eligible to enter.
We reserve the right to reject or invalidate entries where we reasonably believe that false information, multiple identities, fraud, manipulation or abuse of the entry process has occurred.
3. Competition Information
Each competition page will provide the important information applicable to that competition, which may include:
The prize or prizes available
The price of a paid entry
The total number of ticket numbers available
Any maximum entry limit
The competition closing date
The scheduled draw date or time
Details of any Instant Wins or additional prizes
Any competition-specific conditions
Entrants should read the competition page and these Terms and Conditions before entering.
4. Paid Entry
Paid entries can be made through 6forgold.co.uk.
Entrants may select available ticket numbers or use any Lucky Dip option provided on the relevant competition.
A paid entry is not confirmed until the transaction has been successfully completed and the entry has been accepted.
Any applicable entry limits will be displayed on the competition page.
5. Online Free Magpie Entry
Eligible competitions provide an Online Free Magpie Entry option without requiring a purchase.
Valid Online Free Magpie entrants are placed into the free-entry pool for the relevant competition.
The online free-entry pool is represented by Ticket #1.
If Ticket #1 is selected by the random number generator as the winning ticket, a further random selection is made from the valid Online Free Magpie entrants in that competition's pool to determine the winner.

6. Free Postal Entry
Eligible competitions can also be entered through our postal free-entry route.
To enter by post, send a postcard or letter by ordinary 1st or 2nd class post containing:

The Competition ID shown on the relevant competition page

Only one entry may be submitted per postcard or letter.
All required information must be clearly written or typed. Incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted entries may not be accepted.
Postal entries must be received before the relevant competition closes.
The entrant must have an active 6 For Gold account when the postal entry is processed, and the details supplied with the postal entry must match the details registered to that account.
Each valid postal entry will be allocated an available ticket number for the relevant competition and included directly in the main draw.

7. Competition Closing and Draws
The closing date and scheduled draw information will be displayed on the relevant competition page.
Entries received after a competition has closed cannot be accepted.
6 For Gold will not cancel a competition, reduce the advertised prize or change the competition end date merely because an insufficient number of paid entries have been received.
Where circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control make it impossible or unsafe to conduct a competition as advertised, we will take reasonable steps to protect entrants and act fairly and transparently.
8. Winner Selection
Winning ticket numbers are selected at random using our random number generator.
Valid paid entries and valid postal entries participate in the main draw using their allocated ticket numbers.
Where Ticket #1 represents an Online Free Magpie Entry pool and Ticket #1 is selected as the winning number, a further random selection is made from the valid entrants in that pool to determine the winner.
Our draw process is intended to be fair, transparent and auditable.
Competition results are published following the draw.
9. Prizes
The prize or prizes available will be clearly described on the relevant competition page.
The advertised prize will not be reduced because of the number of entries received.
A cash alternative will only be offered where stated on the competition page or where we decide that offering a reasonable alternative is appropriate in the circumstances.
Winners may be required to complete reasonable identity, age and eligibility verification before a prize is released.
Winners will not be charged a fee simply to claim their prize.
10. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted using the contact details registered to their account.
We may contact winners by telephone, text or email.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their account contact information remains accurate and up to date.
You do not need to watch a live draw in order to win or claim a prize.
If a winner cannot be contacted, does not claim the prize within any clearly stated claim period, is found to be ineligible or fails reasonable verification requirements, we will deal with the prize fairly and in accordance with the applicable competition rules.
11. Player Protection
6 For Gold provides Player Protection tools to help customers control their paid participation.
Available tools include:
Spending Limits — a Daily or Monthly spending limit can be set, including £0
Cool-Off — temporarily prevents paid competition entries for the selected period
Self-Exclusion — prevents paid competition participation for the selected longer period
Reductions to an existing Spending Limit take effect immediately.
Increases, removal or certain changes to a Spending Limit are subject to a cooling-off period and confirmation before taking effect.
Cool-Off and Self-Exclusion restrictions cannot be cancelled or shortened once activated.

12. Fair Play
Entrants must not attempt to manipulate a competition, interfere with the website or draw process, create multiple identities to circumvent restrictions, misuse ticket reservations or otherwise obtain an unfair advantage.
Where we reasonably identify abuse, fraud or manipulation, we may cancel affected entries, release improperly held tickets or restrict the relevant account.
Any such action will be taken reasonably and proportionately.
13. Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.
We may process personal information for purposes including:
Creating and administering customer accounts
Processing competition entries
Managing payments
Preventing fraud and abuse
Operating Player Protection measures
Contacting and verifying winners
Awarding prizes
Providing customer support
Meeting our legal obligations
Entering a competition does not automatically constitute consent to receive unrelated direct marketing.

14. Winner Information and Publicity
We may publish or make available limited information about winners where necessary to demonstrate that prizes have been awarded.
This may include information such as a winner's surname and county.
We will consider legitimate privacy concerns and applicable data protection requirements.
Photographs, videos, interviews or other additional promotional participation will be dealt with separately where appropriate.
15. Refunds and Invalid Entries
Entries that have been validly accepted are generally non-refundable where the competition proceeds as advertised, subject to your statutory rights.
Where an entry is invalidated because of fraud, manipulation, false information or a breach of these Terms and Conditions, any entitlement to a refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Technical Problems
We take reasonable steps to keep our website and competition systems available and operating correctly.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
Where a genuine technical problem affects a competition or entry, we will consider the circumstances and take reasonable steps to reach a fair outcome.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
17. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a competition, entry, draw, prize or your account, please contact:

18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these general Terms and Conditions from time to time.
We will not retrospectively change competition terms in a way that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have already entered.
The terms applying to an entry will normally be those in force when the entry was made, together with any specific conditions displayed for that competition.
19. Responsible Play
Competitions should be treated as entertainment.
Only spend what you can comfortably afford.

20. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any mandatory consumer rights available to you.
