Do I have to enter my card details every time?

Nope! We offer PayPal, bank transfer, and guest checkout via PayPal for other card providers. We also offer a credit wallet for your convenience — top it up once and use it across competitions.

To add credit: go to your Wallet → My Account → My Details. You'll find the gold Add Credit button there.

How do I make an account?

Simply enter your email address and personal details on our sign up page — it's completely free and takes less than a minute. Having an account means your tickets are saved, you can track your entries, and you're all set to enter any competition instantly.

How do I enter for free?

Every competition has a free entry option! Just click the Free Magpie Entry button on the competition page. No purchase required — it's 100% free, always.

All free entries are automatically assigned to Ticket #1 on the competition, which displays with a gold magpie once claimed. If Ticket #1 wins the draw, everyone who entered via the free route is placed into a second draw to win the prize for free!

One entry per postcard or letter. All details must be clearly typed or written — illegible entries cannot be accepted. One postcard containing multiple entries will not be accepted.

Postal entries must be received before the competition closes. Entrants must have an active account on our website and the details on the postcard must match the account name and address. See full Terms & Conditions.

How do I know what I've entered or if a draw has happened?

Your tickets for undrawn competitions can be found by clicking your Wallet and viewing the Active Tickets tab. If your tickets aren't showing there, the competition has likely already been drawn — results are available to view on our Winners page.

How long do I have to pay for my ticket?

Once you click a number and add it to your basket, that number is reserved for you and nobody else can pick it. If you change your mind, just click the number again to remove it, or use the X button in your basket.

Numbers must be paid for upon picking — please don't pick and intend to pay later, as this goes against our Fair Play policy. Any unpaid numbers are released back into the competition after 10 minutes. This reduces to 5 minutes if tickets are being held unfairly.

What is Lucky Dip?

The Lucky Dip bar on each competition lets you instantly reserve 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20 tickets at random with just one click. Lucky Dip tickets are just as likely to be instant winners as tickets you pick yourself!

What are your Fair Play rules?

If a competition is close to selling out and instant wins are still available, we reduce the checkout timer to 5 minutes to prevent anyone unfairly holding tickets. The team reserves the right to remove tickets from customers holding them unfairly and to place account restrictions on repeat offenders. This ensures everyone has a fair chance at the remaining instant wins.

What if I win?

Congratulations in advance! You'll be contacted within 24 hours by text to let you know — you don't need to watch the live draw to claim your win. If we can't reach you by mobile, we'll contact you via the email address on your account, so please make sure your details are up to date. In rare cases we may reach out via social media.

What is VIP?

VIP is a 31-day subscription costing £6.99. It is not a rolling direct debit — it expires after 31 days and you choose whether to renew.

VIP members receive access to exclusive competitions, jackpots, and freebies. VIP competitions appear in gold in the competitions section and are drawn within our Facebook group.

Please note: VIP does not increase your chances of winning standard competitions, and VIP members are not automatically entered into any competition.

When are draws done?

Draws take place at 8pm every Friday. We always announce draws in our Facebook group — 6 For Gold — so make sure you're a member so you never miss a draw!
