1. The Promoter
The promoter is 6 For Gold, trading through 6forgold.co.uk ("we", "us", "our").
Promoter correspondence address: 5 Ariel close, Cellardyke, Fife, Scotland, KY10 3FG
Contact email: 6ForGold@proton.me
2. Eligibility
Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, subject to any additional eligibility restrictions displayed on the relevant competition page.
Employees of 6 For Gold and members of their immediate household are not eligible to enter.
We may require reasonable proof of identity, age and eligibility before awarding a prize.
Entries made using false, incomplete or misleading information may be declared invalid.
3. Paid Entry
Players may enter paid competitions through 6forgold.co.uk.
The entry price, maximum number of tickets available, any maximum number of entries permitted per person, opening date and closing date will be displayed on the relevant competition page.
Prices and entry limits may vary between competitions.
An entry is not valid until it has been successfully processed and accepted.
4. Free Entry Route
A free entry route is available for eligible competitions. No purchase is necessary to use a free entry route.
Online Free Entry
Eligible entrants may submit an online free entry using the Online Free Entry page on our website.
Where available, entrants may also use the Free Magpie button displayed on a competition page.
Valid online free entries submitted through these methods are included in the Free Magpie pool, which is represented in the main competition draw by Ticket #1.
If Ticket #1 is selected as the winning ticket in the main draw, a second random draw will be conducted between the valid online free entrants in the Free Magpie pool for that competition to determine the winner.
The applicable free-entry instructions and entry limits are displayed on our website.
Postal Free Entry
Eligible entrants may also enter by post in accordance with the instructions on our Postal Free Entry page.
Each valid postal entry accepted into a competition is allocated an available ticket number directly in the main competition draw.
Postal entries do not form part of the online Free Magpie Ticket #1 pool.
Postal entries must contain all information required by the postal entry instructions and must be received before the applicable competition closing date.
General Free Entry Conditions
Free entries must comply with the eligibility requirements and instructions applicable to the relevant free-entry method.
Incomplete, illegible, duplicate, incorrectly submitted, ineligible or late entries may not be accepted.
Full instructions for the available free-entry routes are provided on our website and should be read before submitting an entry.
5. Competition Dates
The opening date, closing date and, where applicable, scheduled draw date for each competition will be displayed on the relevant competition page.
Entries received after the stated closing time will not be entered into that draw.
We will not extend a competition closing date, cancel a competition or substitute a lower-value prize because an insufficient number of paid entries have been received.
Where circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control make it impossible or unsafe to conduct a competition as advertised, we will take reasonable steps to protect entrants and act fairly and transparently.
6. How Winners Are Selected
Winners are selected at random using RANDOM.ORG from the valid entries included in the relevant competition draw.
Each valid paid entry and each valid postal free entry included in the main draw is represented by its allocated ticket number.
Valid online free entries, including entries submitted through the Free Magpie button where available, are included in the Free Magpie pool represented by Ticket #1.
If Ticket #1 is selected in the main draw, a second random draw is conducted between the valid entrants in the Free Magpie pool for that competition to determine the winner.
Draw results are recorded and published by 6 For Gold.
Winners are contacted using the contact details associated with their entry or customer account.
Further information about the draw process is available on our website.
7. Prizes
The prize or prizes available for each competition will be clearly displayed on the relevant competition page.
The advertised prize will be awarded to the winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.
We will not reduce the value of an advertised prize because of the number of entries received.
Where appropriate, we may offer a reasonable cash alternative to the advertised prize.
Any cash alternative offered will be reasonable having regard to the nature and value of the advertised prize.
8. Winner Notification and Verification
Winners will be contacted using the contact information associated with their entry or customer account.
We may contact winners by email, telephone or another contact method supplied by the entrant.
Before releasing a prize, we may require reasonable evidence of:
-
Identity
-
Age
-
UK residency
-
Eligibility to enter
-
Ownership or control of the winning account or entry
Winners must cooperate with reasonable verification checks.
The applicable competition page or competition rules will state any deadline for claiming a prize.
If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stated claim period, is found to be ineligible, or fails reasonable verification checks, we may deal with the prize in accordance with the applicable competition rules and relevant promotional requirements.
9. Prize Payment and Delivery
Cash prizes will normally be paid by bank transfer following successful winner verification.
Where reasonably possible, prizes will be provided promptly following verification.
Physical prizes will be delivered or made available for collection as described on the relevant competition page.
Winners will not be charged a fee simply to claim a prize.
10. Player Protection
6 For Gold provides Player Protection tools designed to help players control their participation.
Depending on the protection selected, players may be able to:
-
Set a Daily or Monthly Spending Limit, including £0
-
Take a temporary Cool-Off
-
Activate Self-Exclusion
Player Protection restrictions may prevent paid competition entries while they are active.
Certain Player Protection measures cannot be cancelled or shortened once activated.
Players should visit My Tickets → Player Protection while logged into their account for the options currently available to them.
Further information is available on our Responsible Play page.
11. Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.
We may use personal information to administer competitions, process entries, manage customer accounts, prevent fraud, verify winners, award prizes, provide customer support and meet our legal obligations.
Entering a competition does not automatically mean that you have consented to receive unrelated direct marketing.
Where marketing consent is required, it will be requested separately and you may withdraw that consent in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Winners and Publicity
We may publish or make available information necessary to demonstrate that prizes have been awarded in accordance with applicable promotional rules.
Where appropriate, this may include a winner's surname and county or other limited information.
We will take account of legitimate privacy concerns and applicable data protection requirements.
Any additional publicity involving a winner, such as photographs, videos or promotional interviews, will be dealt with separately where appropriate.
13. Refunds and Invalid Entries
Entries that have been validly accepted into a competition are generally non-refundable where the competition proceeds as advertised, subject to your statutory rights and any circumstances where a refund is required by law.
We reserve the right to reject or invalidate entries where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, manipulation, abuse of the entry process, use of false information, a breach of these Terms & Conditions, or another attempt to obtain an unfair advantage.
Any decision to invalidate an entry will be made reasonably and fairly.
14. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a competition, draw, prize or your account, please contact:
We will investigate complaints fairly and aim to provide a clear response within a reasonable period.
Further details are available in our Complaints Procedure.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these general Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Changes will not be made retrospectively in a way that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have already entered a competition.
The terms applying to an entry will normally be those in force when the entry was made, together with any specific terms displayed for that competition.
16. Responsible Play
Competitions should be treated as entertainment.
Only spend what you can comfortably afford and make use of the Player Protection tools available through your account if you would like greater control over your participation.
Independent support information is available on our Responsible Play page.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
